The Deines Cultural Center is a cooperative effort of the City of Russell, Kansas and and Friends of the Deines Cultural Center, Inc., a nonprofit Kansas corporation.
Daily management and operations are handled by a dedicated staff, led by its Director Nancy Selbe. Kay Homewood effectively manages many roles, including Reception Assistant, Deines Cultural Center Advocate and volunteer. Gordon Mai, Deines official photographer, covers our events—exhibits and gallery shows, workshops and presentations, concerts and jam sessions, and more.
Our staff welcomes your visit to the Deines Cultural Center. We invite you to join us at the many artistic and educational events hosted by the Center and to be a part of the rich cultural life in Russell, Kansas.
