Help your students to develop critical thinking skills as they participate in the New Harmonies Scavenger Hunt. Download the PDF files (on the right). Use the seven-page scavenger hunt form for the students to fill out while at the New Harmonies exhibit.

The scavenger hunt includes questions, photos and involves participation with the kisosk audio and visual displays. The questions in the scavenger hunt are divided by kiosk topics and the kiosk title is at the top of each section. Students learn about the origination of American Roots music, the artist and instruments, its impact in dance, and its lasting influence in current music and dance forms.
New Harmonies is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Federation of State Humanities Councils. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.
