Ad Astra Music Festival
For three weekends in each July, the Ad Astra Music Festival colors central Kansas with classical music by integrating emerging young artists, community members, and professional musicians. Audiences have come to expect fresh, new music alongside ebullient performances of history's richest musical works of art.
Recent festivals featured choral, chamber, and symphonic music including Mozart Requiem, Handel Saul, Bach cantatas, Carissimi Jepthe, Britten Rejoice in the Lamb, Zelenka Miserere mei, MacMillan Magnificat, and Schumann Spanisches Liederspiel.

Live acoustic jam sessions every third Sunday of the month. Bring your acoustic instrument and join in or come and listen to musicians from across the state play a wide variety of music including; bluegrass, folk, country, and rock and roll.
