An Exhibition of Work from the North Central Kansas Art Association
Exhibit: May 31 - June 28, 2009

Our View from Here, an exhibition of work from the North Central Kansas Art Association is the next show at the Deines Cultural Center.  The exhibit is curated by Jan Schoen, president of the association, and will open with an artists’ reception on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 pm.

The show includes oils and pastels by Gary Ozias, Downs and Pattie Wall, Lebanon; oils and acrylics by Jan Schoen, Cawker City; oil paintings by Cher Heller Olson, currently living in Council Grove; pastels by Brandy Miner, Osborne; oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic paintings by Connie Kapsa, Beloit and Clinton Christian, Superior, Nebraska.  Christian will also be exhibiting pencil drawings along with pencil drawing reproductions by Marilyn Hake, Tipton.  Donna Silsby, Mankato, is bringing oils, stained glass, dyed silk pieces and oil pastels on sandpaper.  Joyce Seevers Benedick, Beloit, will be showing acrylics along with Larry Zvolanek, Osborne, who will also have ink wash, pencil and marker drawings.  Amanda Goth, Beloit has jewelry to display and sell.
