Tom Lewis, professor of English and Humanities at Oklahoma Panhandle State University speaks

about folk hero Woody Guthrie, an Oklahoma songwriter, hobo, and philosopher. This Land is Your Land, So Long it's been Good to Know You, and many other songs struck a chord with the dispossessed and downtrodden in the 1940s. Discover Guthrie's wit, wisdom, and sometimes radical views during this program. Audio and handouts.
